A new brother-in-law
My sister got married! The wedding was in Mongolia, where her bloke Nasa is from (and where she’s working at the moment). I wasn’t there, sadly, but she’s put up some fabulous pictures.
They found an absolutely magical spot to have the ceremony:
Here is Nasa and his father. I am terribly envious of those sleeves!
This family shot shows off Zoë’s dress, which our mother Hennie made for her: New Zealand wool, hand-felted on the kitchen table.
And the other side of the family wasn’t entirely unrepresented either.

Thanks! And Mum will be delighted to hear the dress is getting some international appreciation ^_^
congratulations to you and your family! this is indeed the first wedding dress I am envious of... what a wonderful material! the idea to wear a dress handmade by your mother! wow! and your sis looks absolutely stunning!
Thanks Eva! (Belatedly: I was on holiday.) Mum will be delighted to hear you like the dress. As for the idea to wear a dress made by your mother... you should have come to Golden Bay, then you'd understand ;-)
Congrats on the new addition to your family. :) I'm terribly envious of the no sleeve look myself, what a beautiful dress!
