This idea I give free and gratis to teh internets, in the hopes that somebody more technically adept will implement it: a converter to turn a sequential archive into a delayed-update rss feed.
Ever discover a new webcomic? And have your productivity drop to zero while you rampage through an archive backlog of several hundred episodes [...]
Next week it’s Brendan Adkins’ birthday, and he’s giving us a present. Ommatidia, the first Anacrusis book, already exists. Wow. And in a week or so we’ll be able to order it. That gives you about a week to trawl through the archives and discover that that’s exactly what you’re going to do.

The supercool Small Beer Press are publishing a collection of short stories by John Kessel, and alongside the print release they’re offering non-DRM, free downloads (pdf/html/rtf/txt) released under Creative Commons license.

It’s not a typo, although it might not actually be a word… Via Last.fm user WerkshuwTuig I came across a script asking “How eclectic is your musical taste?” Apparently I’m hitting 96/100, which tickles me pink and breathless.1

I’ve added a few photos to my album site: a small selection of choice graffiti pieces from both hemispheres (a professional had been busy in Dunedin when I visited). The album is entitled “I WiLL Not dRAW AS I AM toLd”, after a delightful piece I found this afternoon.
