Apparently there’s an exercise for the new logic masters students, to find out stuff about people in the far-away land of Nieuwe Doelenstraat. Just to be helpful, then: my bachelors was in Computer Science, at Otago University (New Zealand), and then I did the logic masters right here in Amsterdam. Other people with a sciencey background you might like to touch up are Floris Roelofsen and Hartmut Fitz. While I don’t know what the questions for the exercise are, I’d expect that the point is to get you over to the philosophy department to meet some of the folks here, so please consider yourselves invited; Floris and I are in room 2.24, the door is always open (figuratively speaking, that is, even if it’s actually shut).
